Postal Directorate directs Chief PMG, Odisha to 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗻’𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗔𝗧, 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟯.𝟬𝟮.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in OA No. 295/2024 and 24 other similar OAs relating to GDS strike cases.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗗, 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗘𝗗!

A significant development has come from the Department of Posts, GDS Section, New Delhi, through its letter dated 28.09.2026.

The Department has directed the Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle, to 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗻’𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗔𝗧, 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟯.𝟬𝟮.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in OA No. 295/2024 and 24 other similar OAs relating to GDS strike cases.

More importantly, the Department has directed:

✅ 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟬𝟱 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 already filed before the Hon’ble High Court.

✅ 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟱𝟵 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀.

✅ 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 in CP Nos. 64/2026 and 81/2026.

This is 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. It marks an important development in a long-drawn legal and organisational struggle concerning GDS strike cases.
