🔥 OLD AGE CANNOT STOP THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE! ✊
The first day of the 3-day Dharna of FCPA, Odisha State Committee concluded successfully today at Bhubaneswar GPO with the submission of a Memorandum to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India through the Chief PMG, Odisha, raising the long-pending demands of pensioners, including the restoration of OPS.
The programme was presided over by me, while Com. R. N. Dhal, Convenor, FCPA Odisha, conducted the proceedings with great commitment and discipline.
Nearly 60 pensioners representing Postal, BSNL, Income Tax, AG, CPWD, CWC, ICMR, RMRC, Institute of Physics, LIC, Banks and several other pensioners’ associations participated in the programme. Com. Ullash Swain, from CITU Odisha, inaugurated the Dharna, while Com. Rabinarayan Mallick, from OSKEM, addressed the gathering as the Chief Speaker.
🙏 Our deepest thanks to every pensioner who came forward despite advancing age, health problems and physical difficulties. Your presence has demonstrated that retirement from service does not mean retirement from the struggle for justice.
A special salute to the octogenarian pensioners, including Com. Niranjan Rout from Balasore, whose participation added extraordinary strength and dignity to the Dharna. Their determination is a living message: age may weaken the body, but it cannot defeat the spirit of struggle.
🔥 Let the younger generation witness this historic commitment. When our elders can travel, struggle and raise their voice despite age and illness, can the younger generation remain silent?
The pension movement needs young blood, new energy and collective determination to carry the struggle forward and accelerate the fight for a dignified and secure old age.
Pension is not charity.
Pension is deferred wage.
Justice is not a favour.
Justice is our RIGHT! ✊
