Dear Comrades,
On the basis of the Declaration adopted in the National Convention of Workers held in New Delhi on 18th March 2025, the leadership of Central Trade Unions and Independent Federations in Odisha sat together today (13th April 2025) in INTUC Office, Master Canteen Square, Bhubaneswar to discuss the future course of action including participation in the proposed nationwide strike scheduled on 20th May 2025.
The meeting was presided by Dr. Ramachandra Khuntia, State President, INTUC, Odisha.
On behalf of Confederation of Central Govt Employees and Workers, Odisha State CoC, Com. Brihaspati Samal, General Secretary, State CoC attended the meeting accompanied with Com. Dipti Ranjan Mohanty and Com. Lingaraj Sahoo. As many as 15 representatives from different TUs and Independent Federations including Bank and LIC had attended the meeting.
It was decided to organize a State Level Convention on 18th April 2025 in Lohia Academy, Bhubaneswar for sensitization of rank and file to organize the forthcoming strike on 20th May 2025 successfully.
As such, all the affiliates are requested to attend the said convention with their representative(s).
