Confederation Odisha State CoC was attended by its State President Com. R N Dhal.
Dear Comrades,
Today on 03.08.2024 at 11 AM attended the state level Press Meet at INTUC office, near Master Canteen chhak, Bhubaneswar to observe the All India call of all CTUs on 9 th August, 2024 against the anti workers, anti people and anti labour budget of NDA Government in 3.0 term of Hon'ble PM Sri Modi and against the corporate houses laws and demanding 14 point charter of demands .
The Press meet was chaired over by Sri Rama Ch Khuntia, All India Vice President of INTUC. All CTUs attended with their representatives.
I attended on behalf of Our Confederation of C G Employees and Workers, Odisha being it's President as Com B Samal, our state G. S. is out of Har and in his village for his mother's problems.
I contributed our share to Com Mahendra Parida, convenor of the Joint forums of CTUs and Independent Federations, Odisha.
It was unanimously decided to hold a grand meeting in state capital at Bhubaneswar on 9 th August at 11 AM in lower PMG followed by a procession/ rally from Rajmahal Chhak against the anti workers, anti labour, anti farmers, and anti people budget in which nothing is discussed about the Sky rocketing Market prices, to control over the market price of essential comodities, To start PDS system, for highest unemployment problems, inequalities in the country, to stop outsourcing, privatisation, Casualisation of works in Government sectors/ establishments, nothing about to restore OPS and scrap NPS, nothing about wage revision or setting of 8 th CPC, nothing is about to release and payment of freezing 18 months DA/ DR arrears, nothing about minimum Wage of Rs. 26,000/- for unorganized/ organized sector employees, nothing is about Skim workers, nothing is about social Security of skim workers and nothing is about the minimum pension of Rs. 9000/-for EPFO retirees and nothing is about to filling up of Lakhs of vacancies in Central Government organizations and in state governments too to give purchasing capacity to unemployed persons and to declare permanent of all temporary employees working in different Government organizations for years together and to give social status to all Gramin Dak Sevaks in postal department etc.
It was unanimously decided to make the 9 th August, 2024 a grand success in Odisha by attending in numbers of workers/ employees with rank and file.
