Dear friends/employees/pensioners,
To give a final shape to the historic mass gathering / rally of Central Govt. employees including Railways and State Govt. employees including Teachers scheduled by #NJCA / #JFROPS, Odisha on 26th April, 2023 in the capital city of Bhubaneswar to scrap #NPS and restore #OPS, a Press Conference has been held in OSSTA (Odisha Secondary School Teachers'Association) Bhawan, Cuttack on 15.04.2023 followed by a meeting of the leaders of Railways, Confederation, OSSTA, PISTA, ALOSSTA etc.
This gathering will be the first of its kind in Odisha which has never occured before. We don't know about the result of this struggle. But we can say and record proudly that we have struggled till end to restore #OPS which is our constitutional right. #NJCA Odisha is moving ahead with every seriousness.
Along with participation of family members, NJCA Odisha expects a gathering of more than 50,000 employees and workers from, State, Central, Railway and School, College Teachers Federation/ Associations demanding:-
(1) Withdraw PFRDA bill - Scrap NPS and Restore OPS,
(2) Filling up of all vacant Posts in all cadres,
(3) Stop Privatisation, Contractorisation and Out sourcing in Government works / Departments,
(4) Regularise all Casual labourers/Mazdoors, Contingent paid Employees and Gramin Dak Sevaks in Postal Department,
(5) Immediate release of Pending 18 months DA / DR arrears from 01.01.2020 to 30.06.2021,
(6) Immediate Setting up of VIII CPC for Central/ State Government Employees,
(7) Withdraw restriction of 5 % cap on Compassionate Appointment
(8) Stop imposition of restrictions on Trade Union Rights of the workers.

Another preparatory meeting will be held on 20th April, 2023 at Shramik Bhawan, Bhubaneswar followed by a Press.Meet on behalf of NJCA / JFROPS, Odisha State Committee by the Chief Executives of the respective organisations only to highlight our issues and the program ahead on 26.04.2023.
