Lunch Hour demonstration by ITEF and ITGOA, Odisha on behalf of Confederation of Central Govt Employees and Workers, Odisha State CoC in front of Aayakar Bhawan, Bhubaneswar was observed successfully on 16.02.2024.
At the outset, Com. Chittaranjan Pattnaik, General Secretary, ITEF, Odisha briefed the importance of the call and explained the sectional issues of Income Tax employees with appeal to accelerate the movement for achieving our genuine demands.
On behlaf of the State CoC, Com. B Samal, General Secretary was priviledged to address the gathering of about 200 members briefing the importance of the call demanding scrapping up of NPS and restoration of OPS, Constitution of 8th CPC, to stop privatization, filling up of all vacant posts, payment of held-up DA/DR of 18 months, ceiling free compassionate appointment and to stop Trade Union victimization etc.
Com. B P Acharya, General Secretary, ITGOA, Odisha also addressed the gathering with appeal to strengthen all future struggle programmes called by the Confederation, CHQ.
Many retired Income Tax employees had also attended the demonstration programme.
Thanks to the leadership of ITEF & ITGOA, Odisha for making the Confederation programme successful.
