First Meeting of AIPRPA held with DoP&PW 23.01.2024!

Today at 3.00 P.M the DoP&PW Officer Ms.Ramanjit Kaur held the first Meeting with the newly selected Pensioners Associations to have an interactive session to inform the registration process in Darpan Portal to us. In detail the process was explained and it was agreed to send by email the soft copy of the process so sign up too. AIPRPA was represented by the CHQ President Comrade K.Ragavendran and the General Secretary Comrade D.K.Debnath. Shortly we will submit required forms in Portal as sought for. The Government will sanction grants to the tune of 75,000/-every year to our Association. 

Tomorrow there is another meeting to be taken by the Secretary DoP&PW Shri. V.Srinivas with us on the issue of 100% saturation approach for submission of Life Certificate by Pensioners. 

AIPRPA is registered now in the Pensioners Portal and therefore the Association is invited by the Department of Pension to these meetings.

Secretary DoP&PW Meets all Pensioners Associations on DLC on 24.01.2024!

Shri.V.Srivinivas Secretary Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare took a meeting with all Pensioners Associations in the Pensioners Portal today. On behalf of AIPRPA both Comrades K.Ragavendran CHQ President and D.K.Debnath General Secretary represented in the meeting. 

The emphasis was on obtaining Digital Life Certificates from Pensioners who are yet to submit. Though lakhs of Pensioners from Central Government and State Government and others have submitted their DLC, the issue is that still several lakhs of Pensioners have not submitted.

From the Postal & RMS alone it was ascertained in the meeting that more than a lakh of Pensioners have not yet submitted their life certificates. Though our comrades hardly trying to reach out all Pensioners to submit in time, the task is stupendous and we could not do so.

Now it is a task on our AIPRPA to reach out all those Pensioners especially from the Postal Department. Time is given up to March 2024. Before that time we have to approach all pensioners from the Postal Department and encourage them to submit their Life Certificate either Digitally or Manually. They cant draw their monthly pension if they failed to do so. 

Please take the task very important and try to reach out all Pensioners whether they are our members or not. As the task is very hard and from all States, the General Secretary will shortly write to the Department also to use all their energies and cooperate with us too in this great task.

Our aim is not a single Pensioner from the Postal Department should remain in the condition that he or she has not submitted the Life Certificate before March 31st.
