Dear Comrades,
In accordance with the decision of National Convention held on 30th January, 2023 at New Delhi by all CTUs (except BMS) against the anti workers, anti people and anti nation policies of the present Govt., a state level preparatory meeting of all CTUs (except BMS) including the independent Federations of State, Central, Bank and Insurance sector was held today, i.e. on 12.05.2023 at INTUC office, Gandhi Marg, Bhubaneswar to organize a State level joint Convention.
The meeting was attended by the representatives from INTUC, AITUC, CITU, HMS, CPI(ML) AIUTUC, Bank, Insurance, State and Central Government organizations. On behalf of Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers, Com. R N Dhal and Com. B Samal, the President and General Secretary of the Odisha State CoC respectively attended.
It was unanimiusly resolved to conduct the state level convention at 10 AM on 21.05.2023 ( Sunday) in Budhavihar, Near Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar - 751001 with participation of minimum 10-20 members from each organization and donation @ Rs. 1000/- each by all CTUs and @ Rs. 500/- by each independent Federations to meet the expenditure.
The meeting unanimously condemned the arbitrary decision of the Department of Posts derecognizing NFPE and AIPEU Group-C and resolved to bring a press release during the proposed Press Meet for the purpose scheduled to be held on 16.05.2023 in INTUC Office, Bhubaneswar.
