State Level Convention on 3rd May 2025

Dear Comrades, 

It is said that a dream you dream alone is only a dream. But a dream you dream together is a reality. So all our dreams we dream together can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. Thus, being brave enough to take the necessary steps towards making them a reality, even when it may be difficult or scary means believing in ourselves and our abilities, and having the determination to keep going even when we face challenges or setbacks.

So, my Dear Comrades, please come out of your comfort zone and attend the State Level Convention scheduled by Confederation of Central Govt Employees and Workers, Odisha State CoC on 3rd May 2025 in Budha Mandir, Bhubaneswar which will be addressed by Com. Janardan Pati, State President, CITU, Odisha and Com. S B Yadav, Secretary General, Confederation CHQ, New Delhi who will tell you the real challeges ahead and tell about your abilities to make the dream of the entire working class a reality.

ପ୍ରିୟ ବନ୍ଧୁଗଣ,

ଆକାଶଛୁଆଁ ଦରବୃଦ୍ଧି, ଉତ୍କଟ ବେକାରୀ ସମସ୍ୟା, ସର୍ବନିମ୍ନ ମଜୁରୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରଣରେ ଶ୍ରମ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ ରାଜିନାମାର ଉଲଂଘନ, ପେନସନ ଓ ବେତନ ଆୟୋଗ ସୁପାରିଶ ଲାଗୁରେ ଘୋର ପାତରଅନ୍ତର, ଶ୍ରମ ଆଇନ ଉଚ୍ଛେଦ କରି ଶ୍ରମ କୋଡର ଏକତରଫା ଲାଗୁ ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ବିରୋଧରେ ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ଶ୍ରମିକ ସଂଗଠନ ଓ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନ ମହାସଂଘମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ଆୟୋଜିତ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ମହାସଂଗ୍ରାମରେ ସାମିଲ୍ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ତ ସଂଗ୍ରାମୀ ସାଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ "ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରିବି କାହାପାଇଁ?" କବିତା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ‌ମୋର ବିନମ୍ର ପ୍ରତିବେଦନ।

ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରିବି କାହାପାଇଁ?

ସଭା ସମିତିରେ ବକ୍ତବ୍ୟଟି ରଖି ମଞ୍ଚରୁ‌ ଓହ୍ଲାଏ ଯେବେ,

ଅବା ପଢିସାରି‌ ଲେଖାକୁ ମୋହର ପଚାରୁଛି ବନ୍ଧୁ ଏବେ।୧।

ଅବସର‌ ନେଲୁ ଭଲରେ ଭଲରେ ଶାନ୍ତିରେ ଜୀବନ‌ ବିତା,

ପୁରୁଣା ପେନସନ୍ ଯୋଜନାରେ ଅଛୁ କାହିଁ ପାଇଁ ଏତେ ଚିନ୍ତା?୨।

ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ କାର୍ଡ ଅଛି ଭତ୍ତା ବି ମିଳୁଛି ଅସୁବିଧା କିଛି ନାହିଁ,

ପାରିଗଲେଣି ତୋ ପିଲାମାନେ ଏବେ କାହିଁକି ହେଉଚୁ ବାଇ?୩।

ଯା'ର ଅସୁବିଧା ସିଏ ଆସି କହୁ ତୋ'ର କାହିଁ ଏତେ ଡର,

ସବୁବେଳେ କାହିଁ ସେଇ ଗୋଟେ କଥା କହୁଅଛୁ ସଂଗ୍ରାମର?୪।

ଯାହା ପାଇଁ ତୁହି କହୁଛୁ ଲେଖୁଛୁ ପାଟି‌ ଚାପି ସେ‌ ବସିଛି,

ଗର୍ଜନ କରୁଛୁ କାହିଁ ପାଇଁ ତୋର କ'ଣ ଯାଏ ଆସେ ଅଛି?୫।

ଜନମଙ୍ଗଳକୁ ଅହିତ ଯେ ନୀତି ସରକାର ଲାଗୁ କରେ,

ଜାଣିଶୁଣି ଶତ୍ରୁ କିଣୁଛୁ କାହିଁକି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରି ତା ଉପରେ?୬।

ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଯେ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁଛି ଦେଖୁନୁ‌କି ତା ଉନ୍ନତି,

ତୁଛାଟାରେ କିଆଁ ବିରୋଧ କରିକି‌ ନିଜର କରୁଛୁ କ୍ଷତି?୭।

ନିଜ ହାତେ ଏଠି ଚଉଦପା' ସବୁ କେ କାହାକୁ ମାନୁ ନାହିଁ,

ଯେଝାଯେଝା ଲାଭେ ମାତିଛନ୍ତି ସର୍ବେ ତୋ କଥାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ କାହିଁ?୮।

ଦେହକୁ ଟାଣିକି ତୋଷାମଦିଆଏ  କହୁଛନ୍ତି କେତେ କଥା,

ତୋତେ କାହିଁ ପାଇଁ ଖରାପ ଲାଗୁନି ଘୁରି ଯାଏ ଆମ ମଥା।୯।

ଜାଣେ ମୁଁ ଅଟଇ ନିହାତି ନଗଣ୍ୟ କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଏହି ସମାଜରେ,

ମୋ‌ ଆଲେଖ୍ୟ କିବା ବକ୍ତବ୍ୟର କିଛି ପ୍ରଭାବ ପଡ଼ି ନପାରେ।୧୦।

ତଥାପି ମୋ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧେ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ରହିବ,

ନିଜ ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ସେହି ଲୋକ ଜଗିଥାଏ ନପଚାରି ଯେ ନୀରବ।୧୧।

ଯେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିବା କ୍ଷମତା ହରାଏ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଥାଇ ଅନ୍ଧ ସିଏ,

ଯା ମନରେ କେବେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉଠେ ନାହିଁ ଗୋଲାମରେ ଗଣା‌ହୁଏ।୧୨।

ବାକି ରହିଲା ମୁଁ ଭଲେ ଥାଇ କାହିଁ ସଂଘର୍ଷର କଥା କୁହେ,

କାରଣ କାହାରି ସଂଘର୍ଷ ବଳରେ ସୁଖେ ଅଛି ଆଜିଯାଏ।୧୩।

କର୍ମଚାରୀ ଭାବେ ଯେଉଁ ସବୁ ଲାଭ ମୁଁ ଉପଭୋଗ କରୁଛି,

ମୋ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରିଣ ମୋ ହାତେ ଦେଇଯାଇଛି।୧୪।

ଗଛ‌ଲଗେଇବା କାହା ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ପିଲାଦିନେ ପଢିଥିଲେ,

ଆଜି ସେ ନାହାନ୍ତି ମୋ' ପାଇଁ ଯିଏ ବଳିଦାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ।୧୫।

ବୋନସ ବେତନ ଭତ୍ତା ପେନସନ ସବୁଥି ଲଢେଇ ପାଲା,

ତିଳେ ଯୋଗଦାନ କେଉଁ ସଂଗ୍ରାମରେ ମୋର କେବେହେଁ ନଥିଲା।୧୬।

ପୂର୍ବ ପିଢିଙ୍କର ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କାରଣୁ ସବୁ ମୁଁ ପାଇଛି ଯେଣୁ,

ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ପିଢ଼ି ପାଇଁ ମୋ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ ନୈତିକ ଦାୟିତ୍ବ ତେଣୁ।୧୭।

ଇତିହାସ କହେ ସବୁ ସଂଗ୍ରାମରେ ସଭିଏଁ ଲଢି ନଥାନ୍ତି,

ମହାସଂଗ୍ରାମର ବିଫଳତା ପାଇଁ ଥୋକେ ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି।୧୮।

ସଫଳତା ପରେ ସେଇ ଗୃହ ଶତ୍ରୁ ଲାଭ‌ ପାଇଁ ଆଗଭର,

ସଂଗ୍ରାମୀଙ୍କ ମୁଣ୍ଡେ ଦୋଷ ଲଦିବାକୁ ତିଳେ ନକରେ ଖାତର।୧୯।

ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମରେ ଯିଏ ଦିନେ ଭାଗୀଦାର ହିଁ ନଥିଲା,

ଗାନ୍ଧୀ ନେହେରୁଙ୍କୁ ଦୋଷ‌ ଦେଇ ଏବେ ଦେଶରେ କରୁଛି ପାଲା।୨୦।

ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ଗୋଟେ ନଗଢି ଯା'ଥିଲା ବିକୁଛନ୍ତି ଭାଙ୍ଗୁଛନ୍ତି,

ଜଳ ଜମି ସହ ଜଙ୍ଗଲ ବିକନ୍ତି କିଛି ବି ଛାଡୁନାହାନ୍ତି।୨୧।

ଅକର୍ମା ପୁଅ ସେ ବାପ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ବିକି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଯିଏ ଚଳେ,

ଘୋଡ଼ାମୁହାଁ ପୁଅ ଜନମ ନିଅନ୍ତି ବଅଁଶ ବୁଡିବା ବେଳେ।୨୨।

ଏସବୁ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଅନୀତିକୁ ଦେଖି କେମିତି ହେବୁ ନୀରବ 

କ୍ଷମତାକୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିଣ ସଂଘର୍ଷ କରିବାକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚେ ହେବ।୨୩।

ସଂଘର୍ଷରେ ଅବତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବା ପୂର୍ବୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିବା ଜରୁରୀ,

ଅର୍ଜୁନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନେ ସେଦିନ ଉତ୍ତର ରଖିଥିଲେ ଚକ୍ରଧାରୀ।୨୪।

କର୍ମେ ଅଧିକାର ଅଛି ଯେ ତୋହର ଫଳେ ଅଧିକାର ନାହିଁ,

ଶୋଚନା ନକରି ଧର୍ମଯୁଦ୍ଧେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଅବତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଅ ତୁହି।୨୫।

ଜନ୍ମ ନେଇଥିଲା ଶ୍ରୀମଦ୍ଭାଗବଦ୍ ଗୀତା ନାମେ ପରିଚୟ,

ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧେ ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ଉଠି ସତ୍ୟ ଧର୍ମର ହୋଇଲା ଜୟ।୨୬।

ସମାନ ଅବସ୍ଥା ଆଜି ମୋ ଦେଶର ଚୌଦିଗେ କୋକୁଆ ଭୟ,

ଜାତି ଧର୍ମ ନାମେ ହିଂସା ରାଜନୀତି ଦେଶକୁ କରେ ଅଥୟ।୨୭।

ଛାତି ଡେଇଁ ଆସି ପାଟିଏ ହେଲାଣି ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ଅନୀତି ପାଣି,

ନାକ ଆଖି ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବୁଡିବା ଆଗରୁ ସତର୍କ ହୋଇବା ପୁଣି।୨୮।

କେବଳ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ ବଳେ ଯୁଗେ ଯୁଗେ ଅତି ହୋଇଅଛି ଇତି,

ସତ୍ୟ ଧର୍ମ ନ୍ୟାୟ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇ ଫେରି ଆସି ଅଛି ଶାନ୍ତି।୨୯।

ସେ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ ଧାରା‌ ଅବ୍ୟାହତ ରହୁ ଭବିଷ୍ୟ ପିଢିଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ।

ସଂଗ୍ରାମରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ସମ୍ଭବ ଯା' ଲୋଡା ପ୍ରଗତି ପାଇଁ।୩୦।

President and General Secretary, Odisha State CoC sensitized NFPE PIV comrades of Odisha Circle for 3rd May 2025 State Level Convention called by the State CoC and for 20th May 2025 Nationwide General Strike called by CTUs and Independent Federations

Dear Comrades,

The Circle Working Committee Meeting of NFPE PIV, Odisha Circle was held today ( 20th April 2025) in RJCM Room, Ashoknagar MDG, Bhubaneswar - 751009 under the presidentship of Com. MCS Rao, their Circle President and All India Vice-President , PIV CHQ.

The CWC was inaugurated by Com. Rabindranath Dhal, State President, Confederation of Central Govt Employees and Workers, Odisha Sate CoC who briefed the dangers ahead on the entire working class including UPS and Finance Act 2025 with appeal for active participation in the 20th May 2025 Nationwide General Strike. 

Com. Bruhaspati Samal, General Secretary State CoC briefing the sacrifices of our ancestors with regard to the benefits now enjoyed by the Central Govt Employees which are being snatched away by the present Govt. one by one, appealed the members to participate enmasse in the State Level Convention called by the CoC on 3rd May 2025 and to mobilize their members for successful organization of the 20th May 2025 Nationwide General Strike called by the Central Trade Unions and Independent Federations.

Com Debabrata Mohanty, Ex- General Secretary, PIV CHQ discussed the sectional issues including IDC and appealed all for successful implementation of the series of agitational programmes framed by their CHQ along with AIGDSU and to get ready for the 20th May 2025 strike. 

Thanks to NFPE PIV, Odisha Circle for organizing this CWC in a very critical juncture ahead of the nationwide general strike.

General Secretary, State CoC addressed the Working Committee Meeting of OSKEM held in Bhubaneswar 0n 19.04.2025 for successful conductance of Nationwide General Strike on 20th May 2025 called by CTUs and Independent Federations

Dear Comrades,

The Working Committee Meeting of Odisha Shramik Karmachari Ekata Manch (OSKEM) was held today (19.04.2025) in the auditorium of LIC Divisional Office, Pokhariput, Bhubaneswar under the presidentship of Com. Ramakanta Dash, General Secretary, BDLIEA and Joint Convenor, OSKEM.

At the outset, Com. B B Nayak (BDLIEA), Joint Convenor, OSKEM briefed th purpose of the meeting for brining a thundering success to the forthcoming Nationwide General Strike on 20th May 2025 called by the Central Trade Unions and Independent Federations.

Com. Abhaya Das, General Secretary, CDIEA discussed all current issues affecting the nation as a whole starting from a common citizen to the employees and pensioners and appealed all to actively participate enmasse in the forthcoming strike.

The Confederation of Central Govt Employees and Workers, Odisha State CoC was represented by Com. Bruhaspati Samal, General Secretary , State CoC and Joint Convenor, OSKEM accomanied with Com. Iswar Ch. Sahoo and his team from GSIEA,  Com. Lingaraj Sahoo and Com. Dipti Ranjan Mohanty from AIPRPA.  Com. Samal briefed how the present Govt is trying to create a class within a class by dividing the employees in OPS, NPS and UPS and now through the  Finance Act 2025 brining a discrimination among the pensioners. We have to make our people as well as the members of public understand the truth by organizing Block and District level campaign programmes to conduct the above strike successfully, he said.

Com. Dusmant Kumar Das and Com. Rabinarayan Mallick, Advisors to OSKEM guided the participants suitably for the forthcoming agitational programmes and suggested to strengthen OSKEM by organizing frequent meetings in places other than Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

As many as 50 leaders and representatives from around 20 organizations including service and pensioners' associations, viz; BEFI, AOBEF, AOLICPA, BDLIEA, OSEA, AOEPFPA,  OSGIEA, CDIEA, MARKFED, GICEA, BOYONIKA, OSRU, NABARD, ESIC and OSGECC had actively participated and confirmed their participation in the forthcoming Nationwide General Strike on 20th May 2025.

At the end, Com. Asit ku. Basu Mallick (BDLIEA) gave the vote of thanks.

General Secretary, State CoC addressed the State Level Convention organized by the Joint Forum of Trade Unions (Except BMS) and Independent Federations held in Lohia Academy on 18th April 2025

 

Dear Comrades,

The Joint Forum of Central Trade Unions (Except BMS) and Independent Federations organized a State Level Convention in Lohia Academy, Bhubaneswar on 18th April 2025.

The main focus of the Convention was to demand withdrawal of four Labour Codes, Scrapping up of UPS and restoration of OPS, revision of minimum wage to Rs. 26000, convention of Indian Labour Conference etc.

The Declaration adopted in the National Convention of Workers held in New Delhi on 18th March 2025 was unanimously accepted in the convention with a resolution to mobilize rank and file at all levels for brining a thundering success to the forthcoming Nationwide General Strike on 20th May 2025.

The Convention  was attended and addressed  by the leadership of CITU, INTUC, AITUC, HMS, AIUTUC,  AICCTU, TUCC, LDP, SEWA and UTUC along with Independent Federations from Bank, LIC, Teachers, State Govt. etc.

Accompanied with Com. Lingaraj Sahoo on behalf of Confederation of Central Govt Employees and Workers, Odisha State CoC, Com. Bruhaspati Samal , General Secretary addressed the Convention.  Conveying our CHQ's view on accepting the Declaration adopted in the National Convention of Workers held in New Delhi on 18th March 2025, Com. Samal informed the Joint Forum regarding our State Level Convention already scheduled on 3rd May 2025 and other activities of the State CoC to mobilize our affiliates and members.

We were with the CTUs, are with the CTUs and will be with the CTUs for all national issues affecting the common citizens of India in general and the workers and employees in particular, Com. Samal said.
